Tonya Hebert- Law Office of Tonya Hebert, PLLC
Hello, my name is Tonya Hebert, owner and principal of Winlock Law. I am licensed to practice law in the states of Washington and California.
Being a proud native of the Pacific Northwest, I was born and raised in the Seattle area and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies, a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, a Master of Corporate Real Estate, and a Juris Doctor degree.
I became involved in the real estate industry in 1991 as an Office Manager for Quorum Real Property Management. In 1993, I accepted a position in the Eddie Bauer Real Estate Department supporting its shopping mall lease portfolio of over 700 store locations. The housing market led me south to the Weyerhaeuser Company Law Department in 1998 where I spent the next 18 years. My business and real estate experience at Weyerhaeuser included negotiating and managing multi-million dollar real property transactions, timber transactions, real property closings, resolving title issues, drafting complex legal documents including commercial, industrial and cell tower leases, abstracting legal documents, preparing and filing security interest transactions, providing escrow services, 1031 real property exchanges, and training transaction attorneys and business staff. My legal experience serving the general public expanded in 2013 to include legal support for equine enthusiasts and pro bono bankruptcy matters at the United States District Court, Central District of California.
My passion over the past 47 years involves equine ownership, management, competition and employment. My lifelong equine experience provided me with an opportunity to work as a wrangler at an exclusive ranch owned by Rupert Murdoch on the Island of Lanai, Hawaii. Over the years, I have been a recipient of many equine awards and accomplishments including the 2014 Women's Professional Rodeo Association World Championship - 2d Futurity and ranking Top Ten in the World Standings in two Futurity divisions in Women's Professional Rodeo. I am also an active volunteer in my community providing legal services to several 501(c)(3) organizations.
My ultimate goal is to help people resolve legal issues with INTEGRITY and HONESTY.
